Volleyball Australia appoints two event managers: Charles Hall and Trent Clarke join the team at VA

Volleyball Australia has appointed two new event managers with extensive experience in managing major sporting events.

Charles Hall and Trent Clarke join the team at VA to work on a range of events staged across the country by Volleyball Australia.

In a career spanning more than 15 years, Charles has been involved in the management and staging of over 200 large-scale sporting events including the NCAA National Volleyball tournament and the USA Beach Volleyball Championship.

He has also worked on LPGA and PGA Tour events, the 2004 World Series, the 2005 Super Bowl and the 2019 Invictus Games.

Coincidentally, both Charles and Trent worked at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in event management.

Trent has been part of the Beach Volleyball family for 25 years after starting as a player in 1994 before moving into officiating as a line judge at the Goodwill Games in 2001, effectively his first taste of high level Beach Volleyball.

He managed the Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour and was the tour director on the Australian Beach Volleyball series as well as running an indoor sports centre in Rockhampton for many years.

Trent was the Beach Volleyball Sports Operations Manager at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

With their years of expertise, Charles and Trent are valuable additions to the VA family.
