National Referee Uniform

Volleyball Australia is excited to launch a brand new design of referee uniforms. Our referee uniform has remained unchanged for almost 2 decades, so with the creation of our new logo, we took the opportunity to think about presenting our referees in a new, more bold livery. The changes allow us to align with the FIVB, AVC and sporting codes more generally where referees have moved away from the traditional white.

We believe that the sky blue referee uniform provides a fresh look and will be a great contrast to the navy pants (Volleyball) and shorts (Beach Volleyball) and will assist in enhancing our sport.

The VARC's National Referee Uniform has been designed to be worn by all referees in both disciplines - Indoor and Beach Volleyball. While it is a requirement that all referees at national competitions and events are attired in this uniform, some states have also indicated that they require this uniform to be worn at various competitions and events. All referees in Australia are encouraged to wear this uniform to designate that they are qualified.
