Australia will be hosting 2 International Beach Volleyball events in 2017, with the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour coming to Shepparton (VIC) and Manly (NSW). The last time Australia hosted such an event was in Adelaide in 2008.

Australian Beach Volleyball Tour
The Australian Beach Volleyball Tour is back for another year in 2017. The Tour is the premier Australian competition for beach volleyball attracting Australia’s best athletes and welcoming international wildcard entries, bringing to the sand a spectacle of exciting talent! Events will be held throughout Australia in early 2017.
State Open Dates
Entries for the Australian Championships at Manly Beach will open Monday 13th of February.
U23 Australian Beach Volleyball Championships
The Under 23 Australian Beach Volleyball Championships is for the first time being held as a standalone event. In the past it has been run in conjunction with the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships encompassing 13-19 year olds. It has been identified that the U23 age group can benefit from a higher level of event. This event will also encompass a broader plan to engage with the community forming part of the build up to the Commonwealth Games.
